The Shirley’s Family

Hi there! We’re Bonnie and Jae, both long time restaurant veterans who met while working together 17 years ago.  We married in 2010 and the dream to open our own restaurant was born.

Over the years, many milestones came along; the birth of our daughter, Hannah in 2011, the purchase of our first home and new job opportunities, all while looking for the right opportunity to follow our dreams.  Fast forward to 2023 when we came upon this little spot in the village.  From our first visit we knew this was finally the right place at the right time.  Our goal was to create a cozy atmosphere with great food and laughter everyday.  It all came together with the help of friends and family and on July 21 we opened the doors to Shirley’s Kitchen for the first time.  We knew in that first week we had made the right decision!  With the support of our wonderful guests and amazing staff we have truly found the right recipe for success.  We look forward to welcoming you all in and becoming part of the Shirley’s Family.
